Guerlain A Night at the Opera Collection : Météorites Perles d'Étoiles, Petrouchka Palette and Coque d'Or

This will be my last review for Guerlain's A Night At the Opera Collection, but certainly not the least! Don't you just love that packaging? Stunning!

Météorites Perles d'Étoile - Light Revealing Pearls of Powder ($67 CAD for 25g)
I always had an odd relationship with Guerlain's Météorites. They give my skin a beautiful glow but sometimes they are a tad too sparkly for my liking, depending on the lighting. The sun can accentuate the sparkly effect and I'm not a huge fan of that. However, it doesn't look shimmery under artificial light, so it's still appropriate for work.

I don't think this shade will work for fair skin tones, it's a warm pink which might turn slightly orangey. On my NC30 skin tone, it warm up my complexion while adding a beautiful luminosity. I enjoy using this violet scented product, but it's not necessarily a must have in my makeup bag.

Coque d'Or - Perfumed Shimmer Powder Body & Hair ($105 CAD for 17.5g)
I really wanted to like this but I wasn't impressed.. at all. I was expecting a lot more from this product! The problem with this shimmery powder is that it doesn't adhere to my skin or my hair, so the staying power isn't that great. Also, the scent is very weak on me.

If you are a collector I can totally see the value of this product, but for me it's a pass.

Petrouchka Palette - Eyes & Blush Palette ($95 CAD for 11.9g)
I know, this palette is quite pricey (hey, it's Guerlain after all), but unlike the Coque d'Or Shimmer Powder, I really like this palette! The eyeshadows are soooo soft, highly pigmented and have a beautiful shimmery finish. The gold is more sparkly than the other shades but it doesn't feel chunky at all.

The blushes are also very nice and have the same lovely scent than the Météorites. They are silky soft and have great color payoff, but I was a tad disappointed by the light shimmery pink shade which barely show up on me. I still think the palette is beautiful and it's a nice product to add to your collection!

(I received these products in order to evaluate them and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
