The Body Shop Drops of Youth Skincare Range

Created for the first signs of ageing, The Body Shop's Drops of Youth range is enriched with Edelweiss stem cells which is known to help enhance skin surface renewal. I tested the whole range since the past few weeks, including the new Bouncy Sleeping Mask and Wonderblur!

Drops of Youth Concentrate ($36 CAD for 30ml)
I've read lots of positive reviews about this serum so I couldn't wait to try it! This product contains babassu oil to nourish the skin, but it doesn't feel greasy at all. In fact, the Drops of Youth Concentrate pretty much sink into the skin immediately after the application! It's not a very moisturizing serum so you'll still need to apply your favorite moisturizer if you have dry skin.

I've been using it for the past 4 weeks and I really, really love it! My skin seems to be smoother and more radiant, I would even say that my skin tone is more even. Acne scars seems to fade faster! I'm not surprised that this concentrate is a best seller, it's an awesome product!

Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate ($30 CAD for 10ml)
This lightweight formula sink into the skin super fast and doesn't sting my eyes, but I didn't really see much results after a few weeks. To be honest though, I've never seen a difference with any of the eye creams I've tried!

It does hydrate, but it's not the most moisturizing formula out there. You might like it if you want an eye cream that you can wear under your makeup, or if you have sensitive eyes!

Wonderblur ($25 CAD for 30ml)
When I tried this product for the first time, I wasn't really sure if this was supposed to be like a primer or a moisturizer. So I tested it both ways, with and without foundation, and I prefer to use it as a moisturizer. I didn't notice any difference when I used it like a primer, my foundation didn't last longer.

However I love it as a moisturizer, it helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores while adding a subtle glow to the skin, and it really helps to mattify the face! I love my NeoStrata Matifying Fluid but sometimes it can leaves white residues on my skin so I only use it when I'm wearing foundation. The Wonderblur is a good alternative for those days I don't want to wear makeup!

Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask ($30 CAD for 90ml)
Last but not least, this sleeping mask is a-ma-zing! It's basically a night cream, but it moisturizes extremely well! I started using it when I got back from Mexico (I know I'm always talking about that, but it's relevant. lol) and my skin was super dry. After only 2 days my skin was back to normal! I still use it every night and even if I use a face wash with salicylic acid to treat my acne, my skin is never dry or flaky.

It has a weird texture (bouncy like jell-o, but still creamy) and you get a lot of product for your money, the jar is HUGE! The only thing I dislike is that it does feel a bit sticky, but it's not that bad really. Good stuff!

(I received these products in order to evaluate them and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
