Clarins Booster Repair Skincare Review Mimosa Tenuiflora Extract Gotu Kola

Clarins Booster Repair Skincare Review Ingredients

Booster Repair ($40 CAD for 15ml)

The Booster Repair is supposed to soothe, strenghten and minimize the appearance of redness. The formula contains Mimosa Tenuiflora extract, glycerin, panthenol and Gotu kola extract (Centella asiatica). The Mimosa Tenuiflora bark extract is known for its healing properties, and the Gotu kola extract help reduce swelling and improve healing of wounds.

This is an awesome product! I like to use it on freshly exfoliated skin. I mix it with an hydrating mask (such as Vichy's Quenching Mineral Mask) or my favorite moisturizer. I only need 2 drops for my oily skin, as 3 drops was a bit too sticky for me. The Booster Repair is very moisturizing and I noticed that my skin healed quicker than usual!

I like to mix a drop with a tiny amount of cream and apply the mixture on acne scars, it speed up the healing process.

Clarins Booster Energy Skincare Review Wheat Protein Ginseng Root Extract

Clarins Booster Energy Skincare Review Ingredients

Booster Energy ($40 CAD for 15ml)

The Booster Energy is designed to tone skin, minimize signs of fatigue and revive radiance. Ginseng extract re-energize and brighten the skin, while wheat protein retain moisture in the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

This product really works, it makes my skin look brighter and fresher! Unfortunately, this Booster broke me out. If your skin is acne prone like mine, you may want to try the Booster Detox instead! It gives a similar effect but it doesn't break me out.

Clarins Booster Detox Skincare Review Green Coffee Oat Extract Passion Flower

Clarins Booster Detox Skincare Review Ingredients

Booster Detox ($40 CAD for 15ml)

Enriched with green coffee, oat extract, glycerin and passion flower extract, the ultra-concentrated formula is supposed to revive a dull complexion and detoxify the skin. Oat extract is known for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.

I love this one! I noticed improvements in my skin after a few days : less breakouts, skin is brighter and hydrated. It has a weird herbal scent (the other Boosters are scentless), but it disappear quickly.

I like to mix it with my NeoStrata Matifying Fluid, which is an awesome product for oily skin but the formula doesn't contain any plant extracts and it doesn't do anything for my skin other than matify it.
