February Beauty Favorites 2017

NARS Smooth Protect Primer Hard Candy Blooming Lip Oil in Zen Strawberry Review Rodial Smokey Eye Sculpt Eyeshadow Palette

NARS Smooth & Protect Primer ($45 CAD, click here to buy it)
This primer makes my makeup last longer than usual, smooths out pores and provide protection against UV rays. The formula is moisturizing but the finish is matte, too! What's not to love?

Hard Candy Blooming Lip Oil in Zen Strawberry ($7.48 CAD, available at Walmart)
This jellified oil adjusts to skin's pH and leaves a pink tint on the lips. On me, it's a light magenta with a beautiful glossy finish! It feels good on the lips (not too sticky) and the formula is moisturizing like a lip balm.

Rodial Smokey Eye Sculpt Eyeshadow Palette ($45 CAD, click here to buy it)
This palette contains all the shades I need for an everyday makeup look. Each shade is incredibly silky to the touch, even the mattes! The color payoff is great and none of these hues look patchy on my skin.

Buxom Plumpline Lip Liners TheBalm Highlite 'N Con Tour Palette Skindinavia Post-Makeup Recovery Spray Review

Buxom Plumpline Lip Liners ($20 CAD, click here to buy them)
For only $20 CAD you get a jumbo lip pencil AND a lip brush. These lips pencils glide on easily and are highly pigmented! I like to wear them over my MAC Prep + Prime Lip, or with a bit of lip balm to make them more glossy.

TheBalm Highlite 'N Con Tour Palette ($36 US, click here to buy it)
All the shades are very pigmented and the texture is soft without being too creamy. The contour powders are really easy to blend and I love the luminous highlighters for a natural makeup look!

Skindinavia Post-Makeup Recovery Spray ($26 US)
Formulated with zinc and witch hazel, this new spray helps prevent breakouts and clogged pores. I only use it once or twice a week (after removing my makeup) when I've worn a full coverage foundation all day. It really seems to work, because my skin has been clearer than usual!

  1. I've been curious about the Skindinavia Post-Makeup Recovery Spray. They used to have free shipping to Canada with their offers but I guess that became too costly for them. As a result, I haven't ordered.
