Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette

Urban Decay recently launched a new eyeshadow palette with gold and neutral hues! Available at Sephora, the Naked Honey palette contains six matte eyeshadows, two shimmery colors and four shades with a sparkly finish.

As usual, Urban Decay's matte eyeshadows are silky smooth, nicely pigmented and easy to blend. But one thing I noticed is that some of the colors look much darker on the skin than they do in the pan, especially if I use an eyeshadow primer. It's not an issue per say, just something I noticed.

The two shimmery shades (Flyby, Hbic) are buttery smooth and very pigmented!

Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette Review

I'm usually not a fan of Urban Decay's glitter eyeshadows (sometimes the formula is too dry and chunky) but they really stepped up their game with this palette!

The shades Amber, Golden, Honey and Queen have a beautiful sparkly finish, the glitters are very small and the formula isn't dry or gritty. They are smooth and highly pigmented, although Honey is a bit sheerer than the other colors.

But I would suggest to apply them with your fingertips instead of a brush, to prevent glitter fallout.

All in all, I have nothing bad to say about the Naked Honey eyeshadow palette! It has a great mix of matte and shimmery colors, and there isn't a single dud shade in this palette. If you love the colors, I say go for it!
