A few days ago, NARS has launched their Fall 2015 Makeup Collection which features lavish shades for eyes, lips and cheeks. I've been obsessed with one of these new eyeshadows, and you need it in your makeup collection too!

Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Telesto ($36 CAD for 1.5g)
Telesto is a medium golden brown with a shimmery finish. It looks much more metallic in the pan than on my skin. This shade is absolutely stunning and very wearable, I love that it's not too warm toned! It's one of those perfect colors that I can apply all over the lid and it doesn't need anything else to look great, except a few coats of mascara. If time isn't an issue, I like to smudge it on the lower lashline too and add a shimmery beige on the inner corner. So easy!
You can apply it wet too, the color is darker and the finish is more metallic. Telesto is already highly pigmented though, so it's not a necessity unless you want that metallic sheen.
I'm not gonna lie, I would usually think twice before paying $36 for one eyeshadow.. but this color is worth every penny!
Velvet Shadow Stick in Aigle Noir, Oaxaca and Sukhothai ($35 CAD for 1.6g)
The formula glides smoothly on the skin but it sets quite fast, you need to blend them quickly! It's much easier to blend them with my fingers than with a brush, but this method can be tricky with darker shades. The staying power is really good on me, I didn't notice any creasing with these 3 shades! I'll have to admit though that eyeshadows rarely creases on me even if I have oily lids.
Aigle Noir is a dark muted green with a shimmery finish. Ok this is so strange because everyone describe this shade as a black, but it's green on me! I only need one coat and it doesn't look patchy, I love this color!
Sukhothai is a shimmery dark teal with a purple base. This one didn't look good on me, it looks very patchy. Gorgeous shade, bad formula.
Oaxaca is a light greyish beige with a subtle gold sheen. I love to wear Oaxaca with a warm light brown into the crease and a shimmery beige on the inner corner! One coat was a bit sheer for me, but 2 coats was perfect.
Overall, I love Aigle Noir and Oaxaca even if they are a bit tricky to apply (they dry so fast!) but Sukhothai is a pass for me.
