When Weleda contacted me to try their Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Capsules, one of the most loved product in Weleda's spas in Paris, I have to admit that I was reluctant to try it because I was afraid it wouldn't suit my acne prone skin. I decided to give it a try anyway because I heard good things about rosehip seed oil, which is renowned for its restorative and nourishing properties, and is rich in provitamin A and essential fatty acids. These revitalizing capsules are 100% certified natural and 90% organic.

I used 1 capsule every other day during 2 weeks and noticed that my skin is definitely more soft and supple! I never broke out from the capsules, even though I have acne-prone skin type.
I was expecting something very oily from this, so I'm not surprised at all that it is, but I did find that one capsule was too much for me. I only use it at night because it's very oily and take a long time to absorb in the skin. The rose smell is a little heavy for my taste, but my skin didn't react to it.
I think it's a good facial oil to revitalize the skin. It's wonderful in wintertime, when your skin needs a little help! If you are on the look out for a good facial oil that is made of natural ingredients, then I would recommend these Wild Rose capsules. I do think that it's too pricey, but I guess it's the price to pay when you want organic and natural skincare.
The Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Capsules retail for $40 CDN for 30 capsules.
(I received this product in order to evaluate it and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
hm, they say if a scent doesn't appeal to you in a skincare product, then the product isn't suitable for your skin. I have oily combo too and all rose products (usually great for fry skin) don't work for me. :(
ReplyDeleteOh really?! It's not that the scent doesn't appeal to me, I like rose scented products (not all of them though), but I would prefer if this one was slightly less heavy scented.
