December Favorites 2018

December is now drawing to an end, it's time to reveal my favorites of the month! As usual, you can click on each product name to read the full review (and see the swatches!).

Viseart Golden Hour Eyeshadow Palette ($64 CAD, click here to buy it)
This is the best Viseart eyeshadow palette I've tried so far! All the colors are very pigmented and most of the shades blend out like a charm. I tried this palette without an eyeshadow primer and I was surprised by the lasting power! These eyeshadows lasted a good 10 hours on me without fading or creasing. I love the formula!

Makeup Revolution Sophx Makeup Pigment Palette ($27 US, click here to buy it)
This palette contains 7 matte and 5 shimmery eyeshadows. All the colors are very pigmented when I apply them over an eyeshadow primer. The mattes are soft and the shimmery colors feel buttery smooth to the touch. Also, the colors are right up my alley! Please note that this item is only available in the Totally Soph Kit, it comes with 3 non-sticky lipglosses and a contour palette.

Stila Enchanted Eyes Liquid Eye Shadow Set ($59 CAD, click here to buy it)
This is a great kit if you want to try Stila's liquid eyeshadows! It contains three Shimmer & Glow eyeshadows and three Glitter & Glow eyeshadows. The gel-cream formula is very easy to work with, simply apply a tiny amount of product directly on your eyelids and use your fingers to blend it out. They are sooo pretty and stay put all day long without creasing or flaking off!


Clarins Joli Rouge Velvet Lipsticks ($29 CAD, click here to buy them)
I love the Joli Rouge Velvet lipsticks! The formula is creamy but it doesn't feather even without a lip pencil! These lipsticks have a matte finish and most of the shades are very pigmented. I like to wear Sandy Pink when I'm tan and Woodberry is a beautiful mauvy pink. The shades Hot Pink, Joli Rouge and Spicy Chilly are fabulous too, extremely opaque and pigmented!

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Matte CC+ Cream ($49 CAD, click here to buy it)
This CC Cream has a semi-matte finish, helps blur pores and lasts 10 hours on me! It doesn't emphasize dry patches as much as other matte foundations and the coverage is medium (but buildable). Also, it offers an SPF of 40 and contains a plethora of skin-loving ingredients!

Laura Mercier Mood Lights Face Illuminator Trio ($52 US, click here to buy it)
I highly recommend the Mood Lights palette, if you don't already own the shades Devotion or Indiscretion! This trio contains two shimmery shades (Indiscretion and Devotion) and one shade with a pearly finish (Flirtation). These highlighters last more than 12 hours and the finish can be intense or subtle depending on the brush used. I fell in love hard for Flirtation, it looks amazing on fair skin!
